First: does it really need to be that large?
If the model is only for display, scaling it down in the configurator is often the simplest solution. The scale can be set from 0.1 to 5 times the original size. Splitting is worthwhile when the full size is functionally necessary.
Where to place the cuts
Good split lines lie on flat, unobtrusive areas rather than through details or load-bearing zones. Add alignment features such as pins and holes at the seam so the parts locate themselves during assembly.
Bonding
PLA and PETG can be joined with cyanoacrylate or two-part adhesive. For loaded seams, a larger bonding area matters more than the adhesive itself. If requested, we handle the splitting, printing and bonding so you receive a completed part.
What this means for price and timing
More pieces mean additional print time, support structures on cut surfaces and an assembly step. This affects the price. Describe the project in a request and you will receive an assessment before committing.
