### How Printimir helps

PETG is more impact-resistant and heat-resistant than PLA, making it suitable for brackets, housings and parts under light mechanical load. For safety-critical uses, assess suitability based on your design.

Materials and colours are shown from the currently available range. Suitability, timing and quantity depend on the specific model and are not promised without reviewing it.

### Typical applications

- Brackets, clips and housing parts
- Parts exposed to moisture
- Functional prototypes under moderate load

### How much does 3D printing cost?

The PETG price is calculated from the model data and your selected print configuration and appears immediately after upload.

### Frequently asked questions

#### What is the difference between PETG and PLA?

PETG is tougher, more moisture-resistant and slightly more temperature-resistant. PLA is stiffer and easier to print with fine detail.

#### Is PETG food-safe?

We cannot give a blanket assurance. The layer structure and printing process make it unsuitable for prolonged food contact.

#### Is PETG suitable outdoors?

PETG handles moisture well, although sustained UV exposure may still change the material over time.
