## Have your Minecraft world printed as a 3D model

Open a world or schematic, choose an area and see the model in 3D straight away. Your files are only read in your browser. We only receive the finished model when you order.

### World or schematic

Java Edition 1.13 or later: the world as a .zip, the world folder, single .mca files from the “region” folder or a schematic (.schem, .litematic).

or drop a file here

Your world stays on your device. It is read in the browser and not uploaded.

### How it works

1. **Open your world** Choose the world as a .zip, the world folder or a schematic. Everything is read in your browser.
2. **Choose the area** Tap the spot on the map and set the size, up to 192 × 192 blocks. Then choose the height, the size in mm and the colours.
3. **Have it printed** The model goes to the configurator with material and colours. There you see the exact price and order as usual.

### What it is good for

- Your base, village or castle as a model for the shelf
- A gift for children and friends who have been building a world for years
- A keepsake of a server or a shared project
- Buildings from schematics, for example from WorldEdit or Litematica

### What it costs

The estimated price in the generator is based on material and print time. We calculate the exact price in the configurator from the finished file, just like for any uploaded model.

- Support structure: the price includes the model with supports that you remove yourself. If we remove them, it costs CHF 20 more per piece.
- Several colours: a surcharge depending on the number of colours plus the colour changes. In Minecraft models the colour changes in almost every layer, so multicolour prints cost noticeably more and take longer. The estimate shows you the difference.
- Several pieces of the same model: the second piece costs 7% less, the third 12%, the fourth to ninth 18% each and from the tenth on each one 25% less.
- The minimum order value is CHF 12.00 including shipping. All prices and shipping costs are listed under [Prices](https://printimir.ch/en/pricing).

### Frequently asked questions

#### Which Minecraft versions work?

Worlds and schematics from Java Edition 1.13 or later. Worlds from Bedrock Edition (.mcworld) and old .schematic files from before 1.13 cannot be read yet.

#### Where do I find my world?

On Windows in the folder %appdata%\\.minecraft\\saves, on a Mac in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves. Each world is its own folder. Choose it directly or zip it first.

#### Is my world uploaded?

No. The world is only read in your browser. When you order, we only upload the finished 3D model, like any other file. We never see the world itself.

#### How big can the area be?

Up to 192 × 192 blocks and 256 blocks high. You set the longest side of the model between 60 and 250 mm. At 150 mm and 192 blocks one block is just under 0.8 mm, finer than that does not print cleanly.

#### Why are supports needed and what do I have to do?

Anything that hangs in the air, such as tree tops, bridges or roofs, is printed on a support structure. You get the model with these supports and remove them yourself, best by hand and with small pliers. If you want us to do it, untick “I remove the support structure myself”. It costs CHF 20 more per piece.

#### How many colours are possible?

Up to 4. The generator groups the block colours into as many filament colours as you choose. You can change which block gets which colour in the list. Only the visible blocks get their colour, the inside is printed in one colour.

#### What happens to caves and plants?

Caves and closed rooms are filled by default, so the model has no hollow space that would need supports inside. Grass, flowers, torches and other small parts are left out because they are too small to print cleanly. You can change both.

#### Why is the price in the generator only an estimate?

The generator estimates weight and print time from the volume. Our slicer calculates the exact price from the finished file in the next step, just like for any uploaded model.

#### Can I print the file myself?

Yes. You can download the 3MF and STL file for free, without an account and without an email address. In the 3MF file each colour is a separate part.
