### How Printimir helps

Many parts in a business need neither an injection mould nor a long round of quotes: a bracket for the workbench, a jig for assembly or a spare part the manufacturer no longer supplies. Upload the file, see the price and print time, and order. If quantity, deadline or material need to be clarified first, write to us through the project request.

Materials and colours are shown from the currently available range. Suitability, timing and quantity depend on the specific model and are not promised without reviewing it.

### Typical applications

- Prototypes for form, fit and function tests
- Jigs, gauges and assembly aids
- Brackets, housings and covers
- Spare parts that are no longer available
- Small batches without tooling costs

### What we print and where the limits are

- **Process:** FDM printing, built up layer by layer from plastic filament
- **Materials:** PLA, PLA Matt, PLA-CF (carbon-fibre reinforced) and PETG. See the differences under [Materials & sizes](https://printimir.ch/en/materials).
- **Size:** up to 256 × 256 × 256 mm per part. Larger parts can be printed in several pieces on request.
- **Files:** STEP and STP straight from CAD, plus STL, 3MF and OBJ

#### Talk to us first

For parts that carry loads, get hot or are safety-relevant, we go through the requirements with you before printing. Our prints are not suitable for food contact or medical applications.

### Two ways to place an order

#### You have a finished file

Upload it in the configurator and choose the material, colour and settings. The price appears immediately. You order directly and receive the invoice as a PDF.

#### You need a quantity or have a deadline

Describe in the project request how many parts you need, what for and by when. You receive an assessment with a price before you commit. You can then pay online, even without the cart, using a payment link.

- **Volume discount:** For several identical parts in the same order, the second costs 93 percent, the third 88 percent, the fourth to ninth 82 percent and from the tenth 75 percent of the single-part price.
- **Delivery:** by Swiss Post, usually within 3–5 working days. On request we deliver the order in person for CHF 50.
- **Your data:** Files and project details are not published and are only used for the price calculation and your order.

### How much does 3D printing cost?

With a finished file you see the price right after the upload. It is based on the material, print time and selected settings. The calculation is free and non-binding, and from the second identical part each additional one costs less.

### Frequently asked questions

#### Can I get an invoice issued to my company?

Yes. Every order includes a PDF invoice that you can download from your customer account. Tick «I am buying as a business» in your profile and add the company name and address, and the invoice is issued to the company. Printimir is a small business and does not charge VAT.

#### How quickly will I receive the parts?

With a finished file, delivery usually takes 3–5 working days. If you need a larger quantity or have a fixed deadline, we clarify this in advance through the project request.

#### Is there a volume discount?

Yes. For several identical parts in the same order, each additional part costs less: the second costs 93 percent, the third 88 percent, the fourth to ninth 82 percent and from the tenth 75 percent of the single-part price. The discount appears automatically in the cart.

#### Which files do you need?

Ideally a STEP or STP file straight from CAD. STL, 3MF and OBJ also work. If you have no file, we design the part from a drawing, photos and measurements.

#### How large can a part be?

Up to 256 × 256 × 256 mm in one piece. Larger parts can be printed in several pieces and assembled afterwards. Send us a project request for this.

#### Do our files stay confidential?

Yes. Files and project details are not published and are only used for the price calculation and your order.
